Mark McKaig is an accomplished wealth management planning professional and a partner/owner at Centurion Wealth Management. Adhering to a robust set of fiduciary standards and principals, he collaborates with executives in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area to map out their financial goals and realize their dreams. Mark’s experience in the financial services field spans over 15 years, during which time he has worked with many successful financial firms and produced successful results for many high-profile clients. Mark has been instrumental in helping to shape Centurion Wealth Management’s growth and development.
Following a successful tenure at a regional financial planning firm, Mark became a partner in Centurion in where he joined forces with two like-minded partners. Having known each other professionally for over 9 years, Mark, Wendy Ann Payne, and Sterling D. Neblett realized they had a clear and shared vision for Centurion. The trio works tirelessly to meet their client’s financial and life goals while sharing the same business fundamentals and wealth management techniques, Together, they provide comprehensive and highly practical financial solutions to a client demographic from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds.
Over the first half of his professional career, Mark worked in several positions within the legislative and regulatory fields. Mark spent six years on Capitol Hill, where he learned and participated in the legislative process firsthand. With his attention to detail and collaborative people skills, Mark constantly evolved and adapted to the professional challenges he was faced with. He now utilizes these skills when creating, executing, and monitoring complicated financial plans for his clients. His unique career in both the legislative, regulatory, and financial services fields allow Mark to provide a result-oriented approach towards wealth management and financial planning.
Mark earned the College for Financial Planning’s Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation and currently holds his FINRA Series 24 General Securities Principal’s license and series 7, 63, 66, and Life and Health insurance licenses. Mark has also received considerable industry recognition, including Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Financial Professional for six straight years.
